I am a huge fan of So You Think You Can Dance. I am not a dancer, but this show makes me so emotional with all the beautiful dancing and the amazing dancers who are so passionate about their art. I think one of the reasons I love it so much is because I become completely absorbed in the dancer's freedom of movement, and in their grace. The performances really take me away and I always feel lighter and happier after watching. If you are a fan of the show I am sure you know what I mean. When I began my blog last October it was most definitely a selfish endeavor. I wanted (and needed) a space of my own to vent, process, absorb and share what my life with Fibromyalgia is all about. Since the birth of my blog, I have had a personal awakening and now understand that I am so much more than what Fibromyalgia has taken away from me. Things I Love #2: Venting
Boy did that feel great! Yesterday I was a balled-up angry mess, but then I typed the word “pissed” 500 times and I felt much better! As I have said before, pain makes me angry. How could it not? Pain leads to all things bad in my world, so sometimes I have to just spew forth like an angry volcano and relieve some of the pressure and tension that has built up.
