Casey loved and depended on you so much! I loved sitting back and watching the ritual of the "hungry dance." I don't know who would smile bigger, you or Casey. She had a great life with us which helps me so much to be at peace with her passing. She is with Buddy & Nellie right now and they are happy because they were loved so completely in their time with us. You are a great man hubby!

I will miss so many things about Casey. One of the biggest things I'll miss is her "Hungry Dance." Every night Casey would patiently wait for us to finish dinner and settle in a little, then she would come over to me and sometimes put her head on my lap to get my attention, other times she would just stand before me with that bright expectant look in her eyes that said, "Daddy, I'm hungry, it's dinner time for Casey!" As soon as I acknowledged her, that's when the Hungry Dance would start. "Are you hungry?" I would ask, and she would immediately start to prance and wriggle her body in circles around the room, her entire body would wag uncontrollably. Of course I would then add further encouragement with "do the hungry dance... do the hungry dance..." a few times. Love you Casey! Tell Buddy I said Hi.

Thanks Peanut! You were a huge part of Casey's life and one of her favorite people to kiss. I will always cherish the memories I have of you growing up with her. Thanks for all your love and support. Love you.

Monyka, you are so sweet and thoughtful to think about Finley. Casey was a great mentor for him. She had him house-trained in two days! He just followed her example. We all miss her, but I think Finley is feeling better now. He was goofy and playful last night, cracking Uncle Rob & I up. There is a huge place in my heart that will always be Casey's but I have plenty of room for Finley too. Thanks Monyka! Love you.

Casey left a great impression for Finley to live up to. I imagine he misses her too and wants to be as great to Uncle Rob and You as Casey was. Although without taking her place of course. That place in your heart is for Casey.. But Finley will be great after his years with his mentor (Casey)
